A born paddler from the Ottawa river where play boating is in abundance. Ryman moved to the west and discovered creeking! “I have been hooked ever since.” His passion for whitewater brought him to BC as a kayak instructor and eventually to Ecuador for the winter, the rest is history.
Keeping the team on track and the lodge hospitality first rate. Andrea is known for her tasty and healthy homemade meals. Andrea is an advanced river instructor in Stand Up Paddling and brings her expertise to Ecuador with SUP clinics. When she’s not co-ordinating shuttles and accommodations, you will she her on the side of the river snapping pics and preparing for the next adventure.
Ponderosa lodge owner and kayak driver professional, Wilo brings his respect for his country and vast knowledge to the team. After a long day on the river you will be happy to see his face at the take out. Wilo is a major part of our family at the Ponderosa.
Dave “Whatever” Gore
Dave joined the crew on our first year bringing vast experience and personality to the team. Dave has traveled worldwide helping set up kayak tours in locations such as, Chile, Costa Rica, and Africa. Dave has been a Jet boat captain in Niagara Falls and a raft and kayak guide on the Ottawa River for the last 15 years. Dave practices the “go with the flow” mentality in everything he does and ensures a stress free solution to every situation. Whatever the place people or river Dave Gore is the man to make sure things flow like water.
Abby Dent “Jungle Jane”
Born in Ireland and raised in the jungles of Ecuador with her rafting family. Abby is a supreme lifelong guide and likes to share her love of Ecuador with you. Abby speaks spanish and presents a wealth of information with all things Ecuador.
Seth Ashworth Since graduating University Seth has been adventuring all over the world, I have paddled Class 5 whitewater on 4 continents. I have paddled in France, Germany, Austria, Uganda, Chile, USA, Canada and Mexico. “Capturing the beauty of the wild destinations I visit through the lens of my camera has become something I am very passionate about. But from there I have also grown to love capturing special moments in people lives too, both in and out of the studio.”
Lautaro Wilson-Valdes “Lau” is perusing a career in Adventure Guiding and following his passion of whitewater to both the Western and Eastern parts of Canada. We welcome Lau to the team and look forward to his enthusiasm on and off the water for our 2017/18 season.
Endless Adventure understands the importance of relaxation and body wellness as well as hitting the rapids. After a few days of paddling take a rest on Digna’s table for a full swedish style massage with essential oils and head to toe bliss. From Ventanas Ecuador, Digna is a certified massage therapist with her very own Spa in Tena. Her youthful energy is contagious and her smile brightens your day while her magic hands put you at peace.
